George Dobbins, a son of Samuel and Mary (Hamrick) Dobbins, was born in VA August 5, 1825 and died May 12, 1880. He was a carpenter and farmer and fought in the Civil war for the North. He married Hessione Frame October 17, 1846. Hesioine, a daughter of Andrew and Sarah (Bailes) Frame, was born in Virginia in August 1830 and died April 21, 1897.

Levi Newton Dobbins, a son of George and Hessoine (Frame) Dobbins, was born Mar 8, 1849 and died July 6, 1906. He was a farmer, carpenter, and a Justice of the Peace. He married Emily Samantha Moore. Emily, a daughter of John Jackson and Sarah (High) Moore, was born in 1849 and died in 1926. She is buried at the Radar Cemetery and he is buried at the Moore homeplace, with no stone.

Jacob Jasper Dobbins, a son of Levi Newton and Samantha Emily (Moore) Dobbins, was born in Progress WV, on  June 24, 1879 and died Dec.17, 1962. He was a farmer and a timberman. He married Rosa Cottrill . Rosa, a daughter of Jackson B. Cottrill and Martha Nutter Cottrill, was born in Pirkins WV on Aug. 15, 1886 and died May 31, 1974.
