Do You Know
GOD’S PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE?

Many people are looking and praying to know God’s purpose for their lives. The Bible has some very definite things to say about this. Here are some of God’s purposes for your life from the Bible.

CREATED LIKE GOD.
“Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our likeness ...And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female 1-fe created them.”(Gen.1:26,27)

RULE THE EARTH AND EVERYTHING IN IT.
“...and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”(Gen.1:28)
God created us last, the crowning glory of His creation, and He has given us authority to rule his creation.

TO PRAISE AND GLORIFY GOD.
“In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His
will, to the end that we who were the first to to hope in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.” (Eph.1:11,12)

TO BE A PRIEST — MINISTER.
“You also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” (1 Pet.2:5)
Your ministry is further stated in 1 Pet.2:9. Your ministry is to worship God, serve the church and reach the lost for the Kingdom of God; for every Christian.

TO BE A WITNESS.
“..Go into all the world, and proclaim the Good News to every person.” (Mark 16.15)

This is the instruction of Jesus to us His disciples. He tells us to “go” to people in “the world,” announcing the “good news” of forgiveness and eternal life. We must go to everyone everywhere. This is your commission.

TO RULE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
...and they shall reign forever and ever. ( Rev. 22 5)

This is our final purpose — to reign in the eternal Kingdom of God. The Lord Jesus is now training us to rule with Him. When Jesus Christ returns as “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS” (Rev.19:16) we will rule the earth with Him in His perfect and all powerful Kingdom.
