Work And Friends

I hope you had a good day
I'm sure you managed well
You knew most of the people
And probably had tales to tell

I'm glad you have something
Like work to keep you busy
And friends to talk or joke with
To get your mind off of me

I hope someday that I will find
Someone to do that for me
So I can finally get some kind of life
And stop thinking of you endlessly

Like you, I would like to have someone
To get me through each day
To lift my spirits when I am down
And send a little happiness my way

I think I will start tomorrow
My heart is in alot of distress
I wish I'd never allowed myself
To get into this crazy mess
